I already have a verification program; why should I use your tool?

With several fluctuating components and charges, hydro bills are complicated to audit—especially retroactively—and something may have been missed. It’s simple due diligence. And if there has been a misstep, you can reclaim any overages.

What’s the process for bill verification?

We need three things from you.

1. Up to 24 months’ worth of electricity bills

2. A signed agreement

3. A signed letter so we can communicate with your utility

That’s it. We take it from there. If the utility made a mistake, we will calculate the value. If the value is positive for your business, Bruce Power will contact the utility and ensure they refund you the total on your next bill. And we split the proceeds 50/50, and provide a fully transparent report to accompany the invoice.

What kind of information are you looking for?

Our software program, in association with a team of analysts, will parse through every different charge on your bill, including things like demand charges, demand factor, voltage, global adjustment, etc. These are some of the key areas wherein utilities make mistakes.
